Do you suffer from LARGE PORES? Can We Really Make Them Disappear…
How many times have you woken up in the morning to larger pores than the night before? Your skin seemingly has been stretched overnight and it makes you wonder who is staring back at you in the mirror. Is there a cure? Let’s find out together.
Pores increase in size for a number of reasons. Sun damage, dirt, dead skin cells and excell oil all play a role. Also, as we age, our skin becomes less elastic thus making our pores larger. So what can we do about it?
Dermatologists recommend products and procedures that include the use of Retinol. This ingredient reduces pore size and makes the skin smoother over time. Unfortunately, this is a temporary fix and once it is no longer used, the effects of it slowly fade away and the pores increase their size again.
The reality is that larger pores cannot be shrunk permanently, however, the appearance of them can certainly be reduced. Here’s how:
REDUCING THE APPEARANCE OF LARGE PORES…
- First and most importantly, keep your skin clean. This simple step goes a long way toward achieving the look of smaller pores. Be sure to use the right cleanser for your skin type, (normal, oily or sensitive) and wash your face with clean hands. Let your cleanser penetrate the skin for at least 30 seconds and pat your skin dry.
- Secondly, exfoliation works wonders, especially if your skin is oily. Use a facial scrub to lift off dead skin cells and loosen dirt from pores.
- Finally, stay hydrated by moisturizing your skin. Keeping our skin moisturized and hydrated helps keep the skin from getting tight and drying out. Apply moisturizer immediately after cleaning your skin as this is when it tends to allow for better absorption.
