  • DANGER – Damage Caused by Acrylic Nails and Gel Polish!

    THE SOLUTION:

DIP POWDERS CONTAINING BREAKTHROUGH ADHESIVE INGREDIENT “CYANOACRYLATE”

    BRI dip nails

THE NEW SAFE & HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE FOR NAILS!

Traditional acrylic nails and gel polish contain an ingredient called methacrylate which is known for damaging, weakening and softening the nail bed.  You might have noticed your nail beds were damaged and weakened if you ever had acrylic nails or gel polish removed.  This is from the methacrylate in the formulation of the products used for acrylic nails and gel polishes.  Traditional acrylic contains EMA (Ethyl Methacylate) but some salons use an even worse product that contains MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) which is banned by the FDA.

Gel Polish contains even higher molecular weight methacrylates such as HEMA (2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate), HPMA (2-Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate), Bis-GMA (Bisphenol A-Glycidyl Methacrylate) as part of their formulation.  These methacrylates all damage and weaken the nail bed.  Studies have shown that approximately 25% of people who visit a nail salon, have an allergic reaction to methacrylates and never go back after one visit.

    DIP POWDERS…THE SOLUTION…

Dip Powders, a revolutionary new alternative to acrylic nails and gel polish, do not have any methacylates in the formulation.  The liquids are instead made with cyanoacrylate, a similar ingredient to the glue that is used in hospitals to seal a cut or wound in place of stitches.  Because Dip Powder does not contain methacrylates, the nail bed does not become soft or damaged.  In fact, after only one application, and especially after wearing Dip Powder Nails for an extended period of time, you will notice how strong and natural your nails become.

Other benefits of Dip Powder Nails over Acrylic Nails and Gel Polish are…

    • Dip Powder Nails are more durable than Gel Polish and just as durable as Acrylic
    • No harmful UV Light needed
    • Nails are done in almost half the time as what it takes with Acrylic Nails/Gel Polish
    • Dip Powder Nails last up to 2 months – more than double the time of Acrylic Nails/Gel Polish
    • Dip Powder strengthens the nails
    • Dip Powder Nails look more natural

Last week, we sent a few BRI researchers to some salons to test this new Dip Powder Method.

They tried various colors (Dip Powder offers over 100 different colors) along with traditional pink & white (French).  The results were beautiful, more natural-looking nails in half the time.  The price compared to about the same cost as gel and acrylic.  So for the same cost, your nails can look more natural, you can spend less time, and you don’t have to expose yourself to UV light or to harmful chemicals that break down your nails.

This new Dip Powder Nail Technique appears to be a winner!
